Also called Paroisse Immaculée-Conception It is the mother church of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Trois-Rivieres in Quebec in eastern Canada, since the nineteenth century. It also has 125 stained-glass windows from Guido Nincheri, which are among the most beautiful in the country. (Source)
The original stained glass windows reflect the German origins of the parish, which was founded as St. Joseph’s in 1889 to accommodate the overflow from the huge Passionist St. Michael’s Monastery nearby. When the Passionists closed St. Michael’s in 1982, St. Joseph took on St. Michael’s name as well. (Source)
