On September 8, 2019, the Diocese of Portland will celebrate the 150th anniversary of the dedication of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Portland, the mother church of the diocese. St. Dominic Parish celebrated the 100th Anniversary of its founding on October 9, 1930 and the 150th Anniversary on November 2, 1980.

Christ Church on the Common is the oldest Episcopal Church in the Diocese of Maine is the oldest known example of ecclesiastical Gothic Revival architecture in New England.

St. Saviour’s Episcopal Church is the oldest, largest and tallest public building on Mt. Desert Island.   The church is named for the French Jesuit Mission, “Saint Sauveur,” which was established on the island in 1613.

St Peter's, the first Roman Catholic parish in New York, was established in 1785 on the site it now occupies, predating the first Bishopric in the United States, founded in Baltimore, Maryland, in 1789. The Church of St. Vincent Ferrer is a Roman Catholic parish in the Upper East Side of Manhattan, New York City.

The current Saint Thomas Church is actually the fourth church for the parish. The third church, which was also at the current site at Fifth Avenue and Fifty-third Street, suffered a devastating fire in 1905. The first worship service in the current church was on October 4, 1913.

The St. Paul’s Cathedral is also known as the metropolitan Cathedral. It is considered a major religious landmark not only of northern Luzon but the country as well. Visitors must include a visit to the cathedral when in Vigan as it has been a center of Roman Catholic devotion for centuries. The Church of  St. Augustine is located in Bantay Ilocos Sur, a  30- minute drive from Vigan. The name of the church is Saint Augustine Parish Church, also known as the Shrine of Our Lady of Charity or simply Bantay Church.

Situated along the highway going to Batangas with a beautiful view of Taal Lake, the parish of Our Lady of Lourdes is one of the beautiful and elegant structures in Tagaytay that will capture the attention of the tourists upon travelling in the city. It is one of the places that are frequented by many faithful and pilgrims to rejuvenate their spirits and feel closer to God.

San Fabian is located 28 kms. east-northeast of Lingayen and about 184 kms. northwest of Manila.

The Minor Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary of Manaoag is located approximately 200 kilometers (120 mi) north of Manila.

I visited this church early in the day and I couldn’t go in because there was setup happening for some event. I returned later in the day and a wedding was taking place. I was still able to visit and take pictures — participate a little bit in the soon-to-be-married couple’s joy!

I visited this church on the off-chance that it would be open to visit. It was open but in the middle of their worship service. I sat and participated in their service and was happily singing hymns with them. This church really has an outstanding choir!

All Saints Church has served its neighborhood and the wider Worcester community since 1834.  The  current building is the third All Saints building, and was built in 1934. [http://www.allsaintsw.org/our-history]

The Hindu Temple and Cultural Society of USA Inc. (HTCS) was established in September of 1989. Our Temple was designed by Indian Temple Architects (Sthapati) according to ancient Indian Temple building codes and was inaugurated (Kumbabhishekam) in 1998.

In order to fully admire the Mandir’s beauty and grandeur, let’s take a glimpse at how the Mandir was made. The Mandir, built in the Nagaradi style, stands 42 feet tall, 133 feet long and 87 feet wide and is made entirely of Italian Carrara marble (68,000 cubic feet); only the third Mandir of its kind.
