2020 has been a very challenging year - the pandemic really affected all kinds of plans. The bucket list for this year was completely thrown out. Oleg and I were supposed to go to China in May, but when sheltering-in-place and staying put in happened in March, we decided to change the travel plans to Hawaii instead. That didn’t work out either as airline travel (well, travel in general) was already breaking down and just canceled everything.
On the lighter side, i’ve been taking advantage of opportunities to just get out of the house (safely) and take pleasure in simpler, brief visits. I accompanied Oleg to Brigantine, NJ — Edwin B Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge and just was happy to be in the passenger seat and taking in the scenery.
