One of my hobbies is taking photographs of places that are sacred (or at least considered to be).
The current Saint Thomas Church is actually the fourth church for the parish. The third church, which was also at the current site at Fifth Avenue and Fifty-third Street, suffered a devastating fire in 1905. The first worship service in the current church was on October 4, 1913.

The Church of St. Augustine is located in Bantay Ilocos Sur, a 30- minute drive from Vigan. The name of the church is Saint Augustine Parish Church, also known as the Shrine of Our Lady of Charity or simply Bantay Church.

I visited this church early in the day and I couldn’t go in because there was setup happening for some event. I returned later in the day and a wedding was taking place. I was still able to visit and take pictures — participate a little bit in the soon-to-be-married couple’s joy!
I had the opportunity recently to visit this church again. The last time I was in there, I didn’t have a very good camera. It was a little dark inside the sanctuary but that was fortuitous as the stained glass windows really come through nicely. - Luke
I visited this church on the off-chance that it would be open to visit. It was open but in the middle of their worship service. I sat and participated in their service and was happily singing hymns with them. This church really has an outstanding choir!

The Hindu Temple and Cultural Society of USA Inc. (HTCS) was established in September of 1989. Our Temple was designed by Indian Temple Architects (Sthapati) according to ancient Indian Temple building codes and was inaugurated (Kumbabhishekam) in 1998.
In order to fully admire the Mandir’s beauty and grandeur, let’s take a glimpse at how the Mandir was made. The Mandir, built in the Nagaradi style, stands 42 feet tall, 133 feet long and 87 feet wide and is made entirely of Italian Carrara marble (68,000 cubic feet); only the third Mandir of its kind.
